Pet Suitability Audit · No account needed

Find your pet's fit in 5 steps.

Not a vibe check — a triage for dogs and cats. Tell us the species, the life-stage, the one thing you're trying to fix, and a quick safety screen. We map it to one best-fit club and two to three products — every study one click away. Loud on the outside, careful on the inside.

A path, not a wall of vials

You leave with one club and a short stack — not guesswork across 15 SKUs and a hundred forum threads.

02

Matched to species & stage

A cat's careful weight-loss plan is nothing like a dog's coat-repair plan — we branch on species and life-stage so the shortlist actually fits your animal.

03

Every claim, sourced

Each recommended product opens its real PubMed studies — read the dog and cat evidence yourself before you add anything.

Step 1 of 5

Step 1 of 5 — Dog or cat

First — who are we helping?

Dogs and cats are different animals, literally. Crash-dieting a cat causes fatty liver; copper coat peptides are a dog story. We branch from here.

Pick 1

Rather say it? Tap the mic and say “dog” or “cat” — and later, name your goal too.

Step 2 of 5 — Age and life-stage

How old, roughly?

Life-stage changes everything — a puppy or kitten isn't a candidate for most of this, and a gray-muzzle senior gets a different shortlist than a prime-of-life adult.

Pick 1
Step 3 of 5 — Primary goal

What are you trying to fix?

Pick the one outcome that matters most right now. Your Passport tracks the rest over time — coat, weight, energy, bloodwork.

Pick 1

Rather say it? Tap the mic and name the goal — “coat”, “calm”, “weight”, “energy”, “senior”, “breeding”…

Step 4 of 5 — Safety screen

Quick safety screen.

This is the careful part. Tick anything true for your pet — it changes what we recommend.

Pick any

Nothing here is veterinary advice. If you flag pregnancy, meds, active vet care or a breed/health flag, your result starts with “talk to your vet first.” That's by design.

Step 5 of 5 — Confirm and see your fit

That's everything we need.

Tell us how hands-on you want to be and we'll build the result: a best-fit club, two to three products, and the studies behind each one.

Read the evidence first.

Every product in your shortlist has a Research button — real PubMed and PMC studies in dogs and cats, plus what owners actually say. We'd rather you read it than trust us.

After the audit

Your answers become a baseline.

Every answer seeds your Pet Passport — the dashboard where coat-and-skin photos, monthly weigh-ins, energy logs and bloodwork chips get tracked over time. Sketchy forums sell powders. We sell the part where you can prove it's actually working — and the part where your vet stays in the loop.

1

We branch on species first — a cat's careful weight-loss plan is nothing like a dog's coat-repair plan.

2

We map your goal to one of seven clubs so you stop guessing across 15 vials and a hundred forum threads.

3

We mark the evidence tier on every product — best-evidence, emerging or experimental — so you always know how strong the science is.

4

We put the real studies one click away, so you read the dog and cat evidence before you trust the wag.

Before you start

Fair questions.

Is this veterinary advice?
No. Puptides is a design prototype, not a working pharmacy, and the audit is an education tool. Nothing here is veterinary advice, results vary by animal, and you should always talk to your vet — especially before starting, changing or stopping anything. When you flag pregnancy, nursing, current medications, active vet care, or a breed/health flag, your result steers toward your own veterinarian first.
Can I read the actual studies?
Yes — that's the point. Every product in your result has a Research button that opens its real mechanism, its peer-reviewed dog and cat studies as clickable links to PubMed and PMC, a candid read of what pet owners actually say on Reddit, and an honest how-to-use and safety note. The full Evidence Hub on the Research page carries all 15 compounds the same way.
What is the PupCode on the vial?
No product name appears on any vial. Each cap carries a PupCode — a glossy two-ring color code; enter it in your Passport on the Puptides site and it blooms the name, dose, batch-test certificate and refill status. On the web, nothing to install. Discretion on your shelf. No name on the vial — the PupCode says it all.
Does the voice button actually work?
Yes — tap the mic on the species or goal step and say something like “dog”, “cat”, “coat”, “calm”, “weight” or “senior” and it selects the matching card. It uses your browser's Web Speech API, so it works best in Chrome or Edge; if your browser doesn't support it, just tap a card instead. The floating “Hey Buddy” orb in the corner navigates the whole site by voice too.
